This page describes what Kramer CPA PLLC collects through this website, why, and who else handles it. It covers the public site and the intake questionnaire only. Information you share with me once you are a client is governed by your engagement letter and by the confidentiality rules that apply to Florida CPAs.
What the site itself collects
Almost nothing. There are no advertising trackers, no marketing pixels, and no cookies. Pages are served as static files.
Cloudflare sits in front of the site to deliver it and block abuse, and it counts visits for me through Cloudflare Web Analytics: an aggregate, cookie-less count of page views and countries. It tells me how many people came, never who you are, and it does not follow you anywhere else. Cloudflare processes request metadata, including your IP address, to do all of that.
One other thing loads from outside: a Calendly scheduling window that appears only at the end of the questionnaire, and only if you are a fit. Calendly sees the request your browser makes to it, including your IP address, under its own privacy terms. The site’s typeface is served from this site directly, so no font provider sees your visit.
What the questionnaire collects
If you complete the intake questionnaire at kramercpa.io/start, I collect:
- Your first name, last name, and email address.
- Your answers: what you need help with, entity type, revenue range, how your books and payroll run today, and anything you type into the free-text fields.
- The IP address the submission came from.
While you are still filling it out, your draft is saved in your own browser's local storage so you can come back to it. That draft stays on your device and is not sent anywhere until you submit.
Why, and what happens to it
I use it for one thing: to decide whether I am a good fit for what you need, and to contact you about it. Submissions are stored in a private database on a server I control, and a notification email is sent to me through Resend, an email delivery provider.
I do not sell your information, rent it, share it for advertising, or use it to build a profile of you. I do not send marketing email. If we do not end up working together, your submission is simply retained as a record of the inquiry.
How long it is kept
Questionnaire submissions are kept for as long as I may need them as a business record. If you become a client, the applicable record-retention rules for CPA engagements take over.
Asking to see or delete your information
Write to me at the address in the footer of this site and tell me what you would like me to do. I will confirm your identity before acting on the request, and I may need to keep information that a legal or professional obligation requires me to keep.
Children
This site is for business owners and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
